Boston
My good friend Amy Huling came out from Texas to visit me for a few days this week. It was such a treat to have her and her 7 month old son Clayton here.

We went to the Museum of Fine Arts,

rode the subway to Boston Common where the Freedom Trail begins,

and did a little shopping at Downtown Crossing. We did quite a bit of people watching which is always fun in a big city.

It was so much fun to just hang out and talk and really made the week speed by. Thanks Amy for coming, Ken for holding down the fort so she could come and Meryn and Tiffany for babysitting while Ken was at work! It was a great gift from all of you! Only one more week until Jeff comes!! Hopefully my body can hold everything together and not go into labor until he gets here. Yay for visitors! What great friends you have to plan all of that for you. I bet it was great to get out and see something. You look great! We wish you the best in the up coming weeks and months.
What a fun time. The wheel chair thing is great. I did disneyland in a wheelchair. We are all praying for you and your sweet baby.
Alissa! Jeff gets there next weekend?? When is a good time for me to come visit? Do you think after the baby is better since you will probably be alone again? I'll try to call you this week, or call me (973) 396-3498. Miss you!
Alissa....I miss you and wish I could come visit :-( If I wasn't having a baby right after you, I would be there in a second!!! Absolutely LOVE the pic of you in a wheelchair, I bet you loved that ;-) Lots of hugs from Oregon....
ok. seriously. 9 months pregnant, in a wheelchair...and only you could look beautiful. Not "cute", or "sweet", but beautiful for real!
what a great week with visitors! :)
I am glad you had a fun time with Amy! What great friends we have! I miss you so much and can't wait to see you this weekend. You drop dead gorgeous thing, you.
I am SO GLAD that you are enjoying MY city!!! There is so much out there to enjoy. If you weren't preggerz, I would recommend you stop by Cheers!... but -- contrary to what the sitcom suggests -- probably no one will know your name. ;-)
Take care, 'Liss. We're praying for you!
