Projects

We've been working on this wall off and on for months. Honestly it was more off than on, which is why it took months. Lately Jeff lit the fire under my lazy bum and we got 'er done!!
Eventually there will be some sort of entry table, a basket for shoes maybe, and a picture or two, which will help hide some of the imperfections. So don't look too close. We do have a few touch ups to do, but overall are very happy with how it turned out. I found the tutorial here and copied her almost exactly . There are tons of examples and similar tutorials online if you want to do it too. We just added white paint to the base color, both of which we already had, traced the stencil we printed off of the website and went to town. I love free projects!!
Next up: Jeff's awesome paintings to help our boys embrace their star wars fanaticism. I think we have the dark side covered. We are still debating what, if any, other characters to have Jeff paint. So nice to have a talented husband.
We have lived in our house almost 3 years and have very little decorated, but we are slowly and very cheaply attempting to fix that this year. Hopefully we will be able to spend a little bit more on the house as opposed to the hospital this year. Crossing our fingers!
